LFPWLI: Sam Bradford, Part 2, A Story of Self-Determination and Forgiveness

In this second episode, Mathew, Dr. Frank, and Sam discuss the growing pains of healing and commitments needed for real change including altering environments, swapping out unhealthy coping mechanisms, and overcoming the shame associated with progressing and backsliding. Sam stresses the importance of being a lifelong learner, unpacking the “why” behind your behavior, and evaluating misplaced anger toward people you love.

We end the episode with the story of Sam making the decision to pursue forgiveness, and why forgiveness requires time and distance to allow you to establish your own boundaries.

“It used to run in my family until it ran into me.”
