USPIE has established 20 state chapters and is growing rapidly amid the national outcry from parents who want to regain control of their children’s education. Today we talk about how to not sleepwalk through the school year, put it in park and just go through the motions. Getting parents engaged and alert, putting their child’s education back into their own hands is a worthy goal. As the years blend together, the woke crowd never rests in their goal to indoctrinate children into a destructive and many times evil agenda. How can parents take back public education, on the local level? Is it redeemable at all? Who are the movers and shakers and those who decide what the kids will learn? Mary welcomes Thomas Littleton to this edition of SUFTT to talk about the descent into compromise over LGBTQ inclusion theology in conservative – yes, conservative – churches. Thomas Littleton is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and evangelist with over 4 1/2 decades on the streets of such places as New Orleans, Atlanta, and New York City (while in New York he worked with David Wilkerson’s Times Square Church, author of The Cross and the Switchblade). He has also done extensive outreach at America’s beaches, university campuses, and foreign fields of Eastern and Western Europe and Central and South America. He has a long history engaging the Arts and LGBT community through heading a Christian Arts based ministry in NW Georgia and worked on the front lines of the AIDS health crisis of the mid 80s and 90s. Littleton knows the origins, methods and goals of the LGBTQ activist movement and the faithful Biblical response for believers anchored in the power of the Gospel by the CROSS and resurrection of Jesus. We talk about his fight for truth over the last dozen years to hold high the standard of the gospel and the truth that can transform any sinner by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Mary welcomes new guest Stephanie Potts to the podcast. She worked with the federal government as an intelligence analyst for 15 years and now works with Midwest Christian Outreach. She is passionate about evangelism and apologetics and discernment education. Her definitive book is “Social Justice and the Deification of Man: What You Need to Know When Talking to the Christian Left”. Today we take apart what seemed to be just another way “to do church” in the early part of this century and drag it over to it’s logical conclusion: the deification of man. While that might sound dramatic, it is absolutely what is and always was behind the door of the emergent church/emergence theology that dared to attempt to do plastic surgery on the bride of Christ by denying the need for the atonement, rethinking the gospel, and placing all power and authority for the end game of earth on man. Even though the Bible teaches something apocalyptically different, the doesn’t stop man from thinking that sin is merely all the ways society has let us down. How can Christians better respond to the left on this? Perhaps making fun of the No Kings approach isn’t the most helpful and yet it’s hard not to take that route. A thoughtful hour with an expert on the social justice end game.

Mary welcomes back Linda Harvey of Mission America to talk about the upcoming school year, and the propaganda calendar that is put into place from the moment they walk in the doors, to the last day in June during “Pride Month”. We take a look at all the woke and brainwashing events that kids are subject to, none of which have anything to do with the concept of education. Wouldn’t it be great to have, say, something like “Holocaust Remembrance Day” to key in on actual injustice, historically factual and worthy of study? Or is it better to teach on perversion and shame those kids who don’t want to partake? Is it possible for our kids to be change agents, or is opting out the best choice? We also look at some rulings that might allow a lot of these weekly LGBTQ events to go away quietly. Teaching kids to make it in the real world with academics would be quite the concept in schools today. Linda is on the front lines of the culture wars and she is up on all the things we need to watch in order to protect our families.

SEL is more proof that our youth’s “mental health”, however the left defines it, has become more important to the powers that be than phonics or math, and no wonder – teaching children how to be “better citizens” by teaching them how to react and go along to get along is merely a front for them to accept whatever Marxist ideals get shoved down their throats.  We also discuss how parents are more afraid of the trans agenda than they are of the gay agenda. How do we get them to understand that it’s all designed to destroy kids’ hearts and minds? Is it a case of “at least I’m not on drugs, Mom” kind of reasoning? An in demand speaker and author, she founded Mission America, a Christian pro-family organization tracking current cultural issues.
