Magic Dough!

Description

This is a 2 ingredient dough (made famous by Weight Watchers YEARS ago) that is super versatile!  Use it for your pizza crust, to make bagels, to make Naan, soft pretzels, cinnamon rolls, pop-tarts, biscuits, etc.  It goes together super quick, and it has endless possibilities.  We recently used it as the base for a BBQ chicken pizza… I got 2 thumbs up from Russ, as he was too busy eating to actually say anything!  Check out the show notes for the link to several recipes using it!

Ingredients

1 3/4 cups self-rising flour

1 cup Greek

Directions

Sift your self-rising flour if it is clumpy! In a large mixing bowl, combine your flour with yogurt and mix well. Using your hands, press into the dough and form a ball shape.

Cheryl’s Mixed Drink Corner

Raspberry Mojito

Description

I’m a fan of Mojitos, and this one sounds perfect for summer days!

Ingredients

8-10 raspberries

1 lime, chopped into large chunks

2 tsp granulated sugar

2 mint sprigs, leaves picked

Ice

4oz white rum

Sparkling water, to serve

Directions (Cocktail)

Divide the raspberries, lime and sugar between two tall glasses and muddle by gently crushing with a muddler or the end of a bar spoon. The fruits should start to release their juices, which will mix with the sugar. Put half the mint leaves in the palm of one of your hands, then clap the other hand on top of the leaves – this bruises them just enough to release their flavour. Drop the bruised mint leaves into one of the glasses, then repeat with the remaining mint, dropping it into the second glass. Add a handful of ice to each glass, followed by the rum. Stir, then top up with sparkling water. Stir briefly until just combined, then serve.
