Liana is back with her co-host Liam for a very important episode this week. We have a chat about how Liana discovered her skin cancer and share her story about how she noticed it and also how she went with the procedure.
Skin cancer is very serious in Queensland and Liana feels it is SO important to make her story known because she wants to help others prevent getting skin cancer and understand how important skin cancer checks are. Skin cancer can happen to anyone at any age so it is important to keep an eye on your skin for suspicious moles or lesions. If in doubt, get it checked out. Not all skin cancers are the same and should only be diagnosed by medical professionals, doctors and dermatologists.
Liana tells you EVERYTHING you know to stay safe in the sun and how you can best prevent skin cancer. Start with applying SPF daily.
