The morning of 2/25 I was driving down Lake Shore Drive to church. I love water, and I have a habit of looking at the lake when I drive. The blue blanket of water, the spontaneous shimmers dancing on the waves, the waves crashing into the shore, it is truly captivating.

This morning my attention was on the sky. It was cloudy mostly, accept for this lone sun ray that was peeking through. It literally looked like a portal over the water from the sky. The lone sun ray burst through, followed by several more further up, but my attention was on the one that stood alone. Watching this phenomena I thought "There is nothing like driving down the lake and seeing the sun breakthrough the clouds to the water. What an exchange."

At church my pastor was transitioning service after worship. He said that God was talking to him that morning about breakthrough! I wanted to do back flips down the aisle! What confirmation! I am believing God not only for my own breakthrough, but for yours too!

God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. In times of difficulty, trust who HE is, what HE has done, and hold onto what He promised you. His word will not return to Him without first fulfilling everything He sent it to do.

Trust Him! Breakthrough is near!

Hebrews 11:1 Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen.

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise - Hebrews 10:23

Graduating with a degree in Mass Communication and a Masters in Sports Industry Management, Janay thought that the perfect plan would be to work in the marketing field of sports. She quickly found out that everything she thought she wanted, had nothing to do with her purpose in life.
