It's time for some straight talking conversation with this weeks guest Lisa Johnson.
Lisa is a highly successful business strategist working with ambitious entrepreneurs. As Lisa says herself "I've always known I wanted more. I wanted to be more , experience more and earn more" and I love how she owns her success and shows others how it's possible.

This weeks guest is a woman who thought her career had all been mapped out after studying for years to become a successful a lawyer. Margaret Shenken shares how she left the world of law behind and finally followed her heart in to the world of fitness. She now helps women over 40 find joy in exercise and is helping women become happier for it. Margarets' Ted Talk "What if I don't know what my passion is?' was a huge success and I highly recommend you watch it.
https://youtu.be/GBzEEP2Ti7M
With previous careers in law and lecturing, Margaret discovered how difficult it is to accommodate exercise into everyday life. After her 3rd child, Margaret left corporate and started creating fun, cleverly constructed workouts that also delivered results, without being impossible and gruelling. By transforming exercise from a daily chore to a daily high, she has helped thousands of women become fitter, leaner and happier. First, through Fuse-Fit, fitness class franchise and now through the female FITNESS hub membership, enabling you to get fit from home.
I love Margarets attitude to the world of fitness and it makes such refreshing change to hear her talking about how we need to bring the joy back in to our exercise, so if that means setting up a disco in your kitchen then just it and do it often! As Margaret says she is using exercise as a happiness and confidence pill.Subjects covered-

Both women are fabulous and inspiring examples of following your dreams, being open minded to new possibilities and that it's never too late to start something new.

Welcome back to the new 2021 series and I’m really excited to be kicking off the first episode talking with somebody that is fondly called the Queen of podcasting, Anna Parker Naples.
Anna is a global bestselling author of ‘Podcasting with Impact’ and ‘Get Visible’, both books of which I can highly recommend.
She's also the host of an no.1 international podcast ‘Entrepreneurs Get Visible’. Anna has developed a real passion for helping ambitious entrepreneurs and coaches get seen and heard. Anna has found her purpose through helping ambitious driven entrepreneurs who feel that they have an important message to share, work out how to be heard and get more visible.
As with mosts of the women I interview the route to her success has not always been easy and Anna shares her own journey of how she overcame being told she wouldn't be able to walk again after pregnancy complications with her fourth child. Anna's attitude to life shifted dramatically and pivoted down hill until seeking help from a hypnotherapist, who was also a neuro-linguistic programming professional NLP that began her journey back to recovery. There was then no stopping her. Anna became an award winning voice artist before conquering the world of podcasting.

I'm excited to catch up with Jo Moseley @HealthyHappy50 for the review show as Jo was my very first guest on the podcast back in 2018.
A lot has happened since I last spoke with Jo about her rekindled love for exercise, challenges and mini adventures. She has discovered a passion for paddle boarding and last year became the first woman to stand up paddle board Coast to Coast.
Jo perfectly describes herself as "a joy encourager, beach cleaner + midlife adventurer" and she's one woman in her 50's who is definitely just getting started.
Jo and I reviewed four previous guests for this episode -
The Yorkshire Rows- A trio of inspiration with Frances Davies, Helen Butters and Niki Doeg talking about their epic transatlantic journey.
Melissa Talago, founder of the online women's walking community Glamoraks
Sam Bunch author of Collecting Conversations
Susan Burrell, author of How to Live An Empowered life

Those of you that have been listening to this podcast for a while will know how passionate I am about seeing more diversity in the media and fashion industry so I was delighted to be joined by one of the Models of Diversity ambassador and model Alison Cline Williams.
Alison started a new career 8 months ago at the age of 46 and I love seeing how passionate she is to be part of the conversation of change and is on a mission to push for more Black older models to be more visible. If you've never heard of the charity Models of Diversity then I recommend you look them up. MOD push for better promotion of "equality and diversity for the public benefit by promoting greater diversity in the fashion, beauty and media industries, where people of minority ethnic origin, older people, larger and smaller people, people with a disability, and non-binary gender people are under-represented"
"Being a Black Mature model in her 40’s I don’t feel that there is enough representation at all for people like me. I love what the charity stands for ( in terms of diversity and inclusion) and if I can even make one brand change the way that they look at the older black model or make a women’s like me have more self confidence then I would have made a difference"
With this in mind Alison is a perfect fit for her ambassador role.
