🗳️ The New Jersey Governor's Election (Jack Ciattarelli vs. Mikey Sherrill)

The bulk of the discussion focused on the election, with Grossman outlining points he believes voters should know.

High Electric Bills: Grossman blames high electricity costs on Governor Murphy for shutting down six productive power plants (including nuclear and Beesleys Point) in pursuit of "green energy." He argues that alternative sources (wind, solar, tidal) are unreliable and that only coal, oil, gas, or nuclear can provide consistent power. He states that Jack Ciattarelli has promised to reopen or replace these plants.

She was "never a prosecutor" but an “outreach and re-entry coordinator”. Her job was to help criminals get housing, employment, health care and counseling when they got out of prison.

Sherrill's Stances: He claims Sherrill is in favor of "open borders," "sanctuary" policies in New Jersey, and "reparations for slavery."

Teachers' Union Endorsement and "Statewide Property Tax": T

The teachers' union pension fund was run as a "Ponzi scheme" fore years. Teacher got low salaries and made small pension fund contributions for years. Then they got big pay hikes just before they retired. Then their pension payments were based on their highest salaries just before they retired! By 2014, the pension funds were insolvent. The NJEA Teachers' Union sued the state claiming that the pension fund was "$50 billion in the hole" as of 2014.

The union wants a constitutional amendment to create a new, "mandatory statewide property tax" to bail out the pension fund.

In 2017, the NJEA spent more than $4 million to try to defeat former Senate President Steve Sweeney for previously blocking this. In 2021, they finally succeeded.

Sherrill's commitment to "secure pensions" a "code word" for her commitment to this new statewide tax to bail out the pension funds.

 "Fake News": Democrats and "billionaires" created a "fake charity" to fund a "fake newspaper" called the New Jersey Independent. We don't know who is paying for it because it is registered as a "charity" and not as a political campaign organization. This fake newspaper is mailed voters with the big lie that Ciattarelli "talked about" raising the sales tax. He never did! He answered a question about why Tennessee doesn't have an income tax. Sherrill's TV ads are now quoting this "fake newspaper" as a source for this fake news. In reality, Democrat Sherrill made a commitment to raise taxes to bail out the NJEA Teacher pensions.

🏛️ Atlantic City State Takeover

Grossman criticizes Senator Vince Polistina's proposal for a 10-year extension of the state takeover of Atlantic City.

He argues the only reason Atlantic City fell into financial trouble was because of the first state takeover under Governor Chris Christie (starting in 2010).

He claims Christie, to avoid conflict with unions while planning his presidential run, allowed Atlantic City to run "illegal budgets" for six years, accumulating $400 million in debt. The purpose of the "takeover" was to keep the City from suing the State to repudiate this illegal debt created by Christie.

☀️ A "Nightmare" in Florida: A Cautionary Tax Tale

Grossman discusses a ballot question in Florida, supported by Governor Ron DeSantis, that would give the option to eliminate property taxes and fund schools and services with state taxes instead.

He calls this a "nightmare" and uses New Jersey's history as a "cautionary tale."

He argues that property taxes are the "most fair" form of taxation because everyone (including renters and owners) pays, and it makes government spending accountable to the taxpayers.

He warns against creating "corrupt voters"—people who can vote for more government spending while thinking "somebody else" (through sales or income taxes) will pay for it. He points to New Jersey's 1966 introduction of the sales tax and 1976 introduction of the income tax, both of which failed to lower property taxes as promised.

SETH GROSSMAN:  There's a lot of new stuff posted on the LibertyandProsperity.com website, especially with the election. MAMDANI CAN NEVER BE PRESIDENT. HE IS NOT A "NATURAL BORN CITIZEN". HE WAS BORN IN UGANDA IN AFRICA. 

First, let me put your nightmare aside. Mamdani's not going to run for president because I believe he was born in Uganda.

Article II, Section One of our Constitution makes it clear that you've got to be a "natural born citizen of the United States" to be President. In fact, there were some doubts about Franklin Roosevelt because even though his parents were American, I he was born at their summer vacation home in Campobello Island in Canada. However, he qualified because both of Roosevelt's parents were American citizens.  However, Mamdani was born in Kampala, Uganda in Africa, and neither of his parents were American citizens. So Zohran Mamdani cannot be President.

JOHN DEMASI: Oh, well, that that makes me feel better.

SETH GROSSMAN: But there are some very scary nightmares out there that I will try to get to this morning. But since the election on Tuesday is so important, let me go through I guess eight points about what you should tell your undecided or Democrat friends about the election between Republican Jack Ciattarelli for Governor and Democrat Mikie Sherrill.

JACK CIATTARELLI'S PLAN TO REBUILD, RE-OPEN OR REPLACE THE POWER PLANTS MURPHY SHUT DOWN IS THE ONLY WAY TO BRING ELECTRIC RATES BACK DOWN. 

First of all, electric bills are high in New Jersey because Governor Murphy shut down six productive power plants that produced almost half of the electricity we needed. Before then, New Jersey produced more than enough electricity to take care of ourselves. That is why we had low and affordable electric rates. But then Governor Murphy wanted only so-called green energy from wind and solar. So Murphy shut down the nuclear plant in Oyster Creek in Lacey Township. He shut down the B.L. England plant in Upper Township  by the Milepost 28 Bridge on the Parkway, and four others. So we in New Jersey now have to get half of our electricity from Canada and other faraway places at very high prices. Jack Ciattarelli proposed and has a plan to reopen, rebuild, or replace those six power plants. That's the only way to bring down electric rates. The Democrat Mike Sherrill is promising stupid gimmicks that are just illegal. You can't declare a state of emergency and force electric companies to charge people less for electricity than what it costs them to get it.

And by the way, I know you get a lot of calls about alternative ways of to make electricity. The key to electricity is when you plug your toaster oven into the plug, it get 110 volts and 1200 watts of electricity every time. Otherwise, it either doesn't work or burns up.  It has to get the same flow of current all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. So if the wind comes and goes and clouds come and go, you can't use wind or solar to power an electric grid. I know you had a caller last week from Ocean City who said, "Well, let's use the waves of the ocean to make power." Well you can't do that because sometimes you have calm days without any waves, and sometimes you waves that are too big and shut everything down. What do you do then? Either the whole grid shuts down, or you have to immediately get electricity from a reliable source. And that means you need tolots of electricity from a reliable source to replace it. There are only reliable ways to make electricity in New Jersey: coal, oil, natural gas or nuclear. You can't have dams and hydroelectric here ins South Jersey because you need lots of water flowing downhill, and we don't have any hills here. So, we need to use common sense and eighth-grade science to understand and fix the problem. Jack Ciattarelli, has training and experience as an accountant and a business owner. He understands the problem and has a real plan to fix it. Mikie Sherrill and the Democrats are spouting absolute nonsense. So, that's number one.

MIKE SHERRILL COMPLETELY LIED ABOUT WHO SHE IS.

Number two, you got to dissect all the lies of the Mikie Sherrill campaign. No, she was never a a military commander. She was a Private Benjamin. She worked for an admiral in an office on land, not in a ship, not in a helicopter in the Navy. When she gets out of the Navy, she becomes a lawyer, but she's a lawyer who never practices law in the courtroom. She worked for the richest law firm in the world which is also a woke law firm. They shake down big corporations and bully them into doing Diversity Equity and Inclusion in their hiring and promoting all sorts of woke agendas in their marketing. It's all described and documented in detail on our libertyandprosperity.com website. Mikie Sherrill was She was never a prosecutor. Her job with the U.S. Attorney's office was as a counselor. She helped criminals find jobs, housing, counseling and health care when they got out of prison. Things like that. And when he got out the prosecutor's office, where she wasn't a prosecutor, here career goal was finding a job doing criminal justice reform, whatever the heck that means. But then somebody gives her $3 million and she runs for Congress, and now she's running for Governor.

SETH GROSSMAN: As we say every week, Mikie Sherrill's entire campaign is based on lies. She is lying about her military record. She spent very little time flying helicopters and was never anywhere near a war zone. She was behind a desk, working for an admiral at headquarters in Naples, Italy as a "Russian policy expert" most of her career. She was a fake prosecutor. Uh, her job, she was a counselor. She worked at the U.S. Attorney's office, but she didn't prosecute cases.  She was an “outreach and re-entry coordinator". She spent all but her last six months as a counselor for criminals who got out of prison. She helped them get counseling, jobs, housing, and health care.  In her last couple of months, they gave her a few dozen minor possession of marijuana offenses on government property to plea bargain.  All of those cases ended up with dismissals, probation or a fine.

Sherrill's plan to cut electric rates is completely fake. She says she's going to have a state of emergency to freeze electric rate hikes. But she's a lawyer and she knows she can't do that.  She knows that Murphy shut down six of our most productive power plants. New Jersey now has to buy almost half of our electricity from out of state and Canada at very expensive rates. And there's nothing Mikey Sherrill can do with the Board of Public Utilities or anybody else to change that.  The 5th Amendment of our Constitution says the government can't force a company to sell something for less than what it costs to make it. The only one who has a plan to change that is Jack Ciattarelli. Ciattarelli is promising to rebuild, reopen, or replace those six power plants that Murphy shut down. And that's the only way to bring down the price of electricity. What Sherrill is saying is an absolute lie!

Mikie Sherrill is lying through her teeth about Jack Ciattarelli wanting to raise the sales tax. Anyone who listens to the recording of what Jack said knows Jack was answering a routine question about the sales tax in Tennessee. And you'll notice her ad says, Jack Ciattarelli talked about a 10% sales tax. Yeah, he talked about a 10% sales tax in Tennessee. Total lie that he ever said anything about that kind of a tax in New Jersey.

And of course, Mikie Sherrill supports sanctuary for illegals in New Jersey.  We have 600,000 illegals in New Jersey. They are costing us a fortune in state tax money, local tax money. We raise our electric rates and our water rates and all our utility rates to give free service to tens of thousands of illegals. And of course, Mikie Sherrill co-sponsored a bill in Congress to give reparations for slavery, something not even most Democrats agree to. And finally, if you go into her background, you see that Mikie Sherrill was groomed and financed by the same radical, leftist, George Soros billionaire types who groomed uh AOC and Cory Booker and Kamala Harris. So really, she's as radical as Mamdani in New York.  Her whole pro-American, military, ordinary working mom image is all fake.

JACK CIATTARELLI TV ADS DON'T EXPOSE SHERRILL LIES, DON'T EXPLAIN HOW HIS "10 POINT AFFORDABILITY PLAN" IS REAL.  "BUT WHAT DO I KNOW?"

So we know that. And that is what we need to tell everybody we know. But unfortunately, you know, establishment Republicans have a guy called Chris Russell running the campaign. And the Jack Ciattarelli's TV ads that I say don't say any of this stuff. All I see are ads that say "I'm Jack Ciattarelli, and I'm a Jersey guy. And I have this 10 Point Affordability Plan.  So Jack has a Plan and Mikie Sherrill has a plan.  Jack's plan is real and Mikie Sherrill's plan is fake.  But Jack's ads don't explain that. And with all those lies we know about Mikie Sherrill aren't mentioned in any of Jack's TV commercials.  We just hear about that $7 million from inside trading in the stock market, but most voters expect stuff like that from all politicians. Anyway, that's Jack's campaign. They're supposed to be the experts. But as they say in Italian, "But what do I know?

JOHN DEMASI: That's right.

SETH GROSSMAN:  they're doing it their way and I hope to God they know what they're doing.

Host: I hope so too.

AND THEN THERE'S TRUMP.

SETH GROSSMAN:  And then there's Trump. I keep saying, don't make this Governor's race about Trump. Because if people are talking about Trump, Jack has a much, much harder job. I'd say about 40% to 45% of New Jersey voters just don't like Trump.  I think everybody sees that, everybody knows that. . . Except, of course Trump. So Trump is talking about building his ballroom at the White House, he doesn't like the commercial that a Canadian province ran on TV, he's blowing up boats in in in the Caribbean. He's doing all this stuff to make himself headline news.  And that makes things harder for Ciattarelli in New Jersey and for Winsome Sears, the Republican running for Governor in Virginia.

I know this for a fact. Before I got on the air, I was with the coffee and bagels crowd at a high-rise uh in Atlantic City. And I was asking the people there, "Well, what do you think of the race between Jack Ciattarelli and Mikie Sherrill?" And all they told me was how much they didn't like Trump. I don't like this. This is completely unfair to Jack Ciattarelli. But that's the reality.

We had 3,000 people turn out for the "No Kings" protest in Ocean City last Saturday. And you know, none of them are going to vote for Jack Ciattarelli, they'll all vote for Sherrill. And right now, they're all energized. They weren't like that a few months ago. So, we have to talk to the people we know on a one by on one-on-one basis about these issues that I talked about. About how fake Mikie Sherrill is, how she's lying completely about everything in her campaign. We have to tell them how Jack Ciattarelli is the accountant, the honest guy with experience who knows how to lower the electric rates by rebuilding the power plants and who knows how to cut the waste and spending that's causing our taxes to go up. But it's hard. The burden is on us because that message is just not coming across on Jack's TV ads, at least as I see it.

JOHN DEMASI:  Yeah, I can't see it either. And I'm just wondering why they're not attacking more. I don't know. I don't know.

And when I say Eastern Atlantic County, it's called the Second Legislative District. It goes from uh Mays Landing and Galloway Township in the west to Brigantine, Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, Longport along the beaches. Right now Don Guardian and Claire Swift are the Republican assembly people for that district, and I think they're going to be on your show later on today.

But like that great Republican President Warren Harding once said, "I can lick my enemies any day of the week, but my friends, my blankety-blank friends, they're the ones who keep me walking the floors at night." So here's what you get from the Republicans, and I'm I'm hoping that Don Guardian and Claire Swift will maybe clear things up when they're on your show later on. But at the debate, they said our top priority is to put South Jersey first. And when you hear that, it sounds great at first. But when you go in the details, you realize that it is ridiculous. What does it really mean when South Jersey legislators say, "We want to put South Jersey first"?

It means that we in South Jersey have 6 Districts out of 40.

Why Democrats And the Media Are Talking about "No Kings" and "Trump, Trump, Trump".

Why is everybody talking about the "No Kings" demonstrations and Trump?   why, why all the, the, you know, the focus on the "No Kings" March and Trump?  Years ago, we had big demonstrations around the country with the Tea Party. And there'd be more than a hundred thousand people with Glenn Beck in Washington D.C. We had even more people demonstrating for the Tea Party in local towns.  Yet there was not one single story, not one article, and not one single mention of them anywhere in the media.

So you see how the media is promoting these "No Kings" protests. They are giving today's "No Kings" protests far more attention than they ever gave the Tea Party rallies years ago, even when far more people took part.  Even Fox News Radio made it headline news this morning. And they reported every talking point of the No Kings organizers, without reporting anything by people defending the need to enforce immigration laws.

Why are they doing that? Because they want everybody in the country to be talking about Trump. And even though these protests are taking place all over the country, there are only two states they really care about. New Jersey and Virginia. Both states have election to pick the Governor and control of the State Legislature.

Democrats know that most women and most younger people hate Trump on such an irrational basis that if they think Trump is the most important issue right now, they are going to vote for every Democrat on the ballot.

So if we want to bring real change and sanity back to government in New Jersey, we have to stop talking about Trump for the next two weeks.  We need to talk about Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican candidate for Governor of New Jersey and Mikie Sherrill, his Democratic opponent.  Have you been following the latest polls?

JOHN DEMASI:  Yes, I have. It's really getting close.

Democrat Mikie Sherrill Has A Narrow Lead. Ciattarelli Supporters Have Far More Enthusiasm.

SETH GROSSMAN:  Yes, it is very close. If  the election were held today, Mikey Sherrill, the Democrat would narrowly win and Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican would narrowly lose. Howver, part of that survey shows that supporters of Jack Ciattarelli are highly enthusiastic. They know the candidate, they know Jack, they believe in him, they know he's will make things a lot better if he is Governor.  They want to do everything they can to help him. On the other hand, the people who are support Mikie Sherrill are not enthusiastic. They're just sort of going along because they don't like Trump, they don't like Republicans. If nothing happens, they're going to vote for Mikey Sherrill.

So what that means is that if there's a conversation between a Ciattarelli supporter and a Mikey Sherrill supporter, that Ciattarelli supporter is going to persuade the Mikey Sherrill supporter to change that vote and vote Republican for Jack Ciattarelli. That's a big deal. Every single Mikey Sherrill voter who flips and goes from voting Democrat to voting for Ciattarelli, put Ciattarelli up by two votes. That is because Ciattarelli gains a vote and Mikey Sherrill loses a vote. So it's so important uh for everyone who supports Jack Ciattarelli to talk to people on the other side and tell them why it is so important for Jack Ciattarelli to be the next governor of New Jersey.

JOHN DEMASI:  Yes. I agree.

SETH GROSSMAN:  And what makes this even more interesting is that most supporters of Jack Ciattarelli are men and most supporters of Mikie Sherrill are women. So, a lot of this is about us men talking to our wives, our girlfriends, our daughters, daughters-in-law, grand-daughters and nieces and persuading them. Now this takes discipline. We know that there are two issues that trigger most women who support Democrats today. And if they think you are on the wrong side of them, they will completely turn you off and not hear a word you say.  Those issues are Trump and abortion.

Most Women Will Vote for Democrats If They Think Trump and Abortion Are the Most Important Issues.

If they think the election is about Trump or abortion, they're going to vote Democrat, no matter what. So we have to make it clear that this election in New Jersey has nothing to do with Trump or abortion.

It's OK to tell them. "Yes, Trump has his crazy moments." and "Yes, maybe Trump is overdoing it". But Jack Ciattarelli is not Trump and we really need Jack Ciattarelli in New Jersey. It's the same thing with abortion. When men talk to women about abortion, we need to understand that most women feel very strongly about having their personal lives controlled by other people, especially men.

So we have to remind them that the abortion issue has nothing to do with the "The Handmaid's Tale" , that totally fake propaganda TV series. Most of your pro-life people are not men trying to control women. The pro-life movement is mostly a women's movement. It is made up mostly of women who had abortions when they were younger and who have regrets and psychological problems because of that.

Jack Ciattarelli and Republicans don't want to control women. They only want consent and informed consent on the abortion issue, They believe that if parents have an underage daughter in school who is pregnant, they should know about it so they can talk to their daughter.  Democrats want public school employees to steer underage girls into abortions without their parents knowing about it.  That is horrible because there are often regrets and psychological problems when women, especially young girls, have abortions.

The second problem that Republicans have with Governor Murphy and Democrats on abortion is their refusal to offer options or choices tro women with unwanted pregnancies. For the past two years, they have been shutting down anyone who counsels pregnant women other than Planned Parenthood. So if a pregnancy counselor gives advice saying, "Yes, abortion is one option, but here are some other options for help if you decide to have the baby", that counselor can be punished for consumer fraud. For the past two years, New Jersey Attorney GeneralMatt Platkin has been threatening to shut down, fine and even jail pregnancy counsellors who do not steer women with unplanned pregnancies to abortions.

So here's the irony. Democrats call themselves pro-choice, but they don't want women with unplanned pregnancies to have choices. They only want Planned Parenthood to do the counseling. And when a woman with an unplanned pregnancy goes to Planned Parenthood, the counselor sounds like a car salesman working on commission to sell an abortion.

We have to make it clear that Republicans like Jack Ciattarelli don't want to control anybody when it comes to abortions. They just want parents to be able to be informed about their underage girls because they love and understand their children better than any public-school employee.  They want women with unplanned pregnancies to make informed choices after having a chance to know all of their options.

Democrats Pick Candidates Like Mikie Sherrill Like Hollywood Picks Actors for Movies and TV Shows.

JOHN DEMASI: Yes. And I I think, don't you think also the fact that Mikey Sherrill is a woman, that women are going to gravitate to her figuring that, you know, she she's for abortion or she's for women's rights or so on and so forth. Do you think that's a factor?

SETH GROSSMAN: Of course it's a factor, and that's why they picked her.  This is how Democrats recruit and groom their candidates. This is what they did with AOC and Mamdani in New York. Democrats pick likeable people with the right racial and gender make-up to be their candidates. It's like their casting for an actor for a movie or a TV show.  That's why they they picked Mikey Sherrill. She checks off all the right boxes. She's a women, a mom, she flew helicopters, she's military veteran, she was a prosecutor for a few months. She has everything she needs to get elected. Of course, she has no idea what to do after she is elected, but that's OK. Democrats deliberately pick these candidates with no experience, no training, no integrity, no core beliefs, because they will be puppets when they get into office.

Fake recycling is a typical liberty issue. The government forces all of us to sort out our garbage. Then we waste time and fossil fuel washing the plastic and the cans so we don't attract bugs. We waste salaries and gas having it picked up on different days by different crews with different sets of trucks. And it's all fake.  It's all a total scam. They hardly recycle anything. They put your plastic on trucks and take it to ships in Bayonne.  From there it goes to some third world country in Asia or Africa. There it gets dumped near a river and ends up polluting our oceans. 4 BIG LIES IN 30 SECOND MIKIE SHERRILL TV AD.

But to go back to, Mikie Sherrill. She's the Democrat who's running for, Governor against Republican Jack Ciattarelli. It is absolutely infuriating to watch her 30 second TV spots spouting one blatant lie after another. And, of course, anyone who listens to this program or comes to our breakfasts or website, or gets our emails recognize those lies. However, most people don't. That is why is is the job of everybody listening to this program, and everybody who follows us to talk to our spouses, our kids, and grandkids and everyone we know to tell them the truth.

These lies are more serious than whether she helped cover up cheating at the Naval Academy years ago. Mikie Sherrill did not graduate in June with the rest of her class. She had to stay at the Naval Academy for an extra eight months. She says she didn't cheat, but that she would not cooperate with the investigation to say who did. That's part of the issue. a bigger part was the Democrat agenda of so-called "diversity, equity and inclusion".  Democratic Presidents like Clinton, Obama and Biden forced the service academies to take in a lot of people who were just not qualified to be there in the first place. So, of course, they created a culture of cheating to get people to graduate. And it looks like one of the people who was cheating was Mikey Sherrill's husband, who was also in the academy. So you have that whole mess. 

But to me, the biggest lies are in the Mikie Sherrill TV commercials.  I've never before seen so many lies packed into one 30 second spot like that before. They start by pretending that Mikie Sherrill was a heroic combat helicopter pilot. They don't tell you that Mikie Sherrill spent most of her time in the military behind a desk, working on some headquarters on land. Her main achievement was being an expert on Russian policy for the admiral in Naples, Italy.

Then Mikie Sherrill says, "On day one, I'm going to declare a state of emergency to freeze all electric bills for one year. Now how can she possibly do it. First, she can't claim there is an emergency. We have a shortage of electricity because Governor Murphy shut down six productive electric power plants during the past eight years and never replaced them. We all know that one of them, was by the big Garden State Parkway bridge near Ocean City Bridge at Mile Post 30 at Beesley's Point. Mikie Sherrill never called that an emergency. She said this was good. She we should pay "an arm and a leg" for clean energy. Of course, there's nothing clean at all about solar panels and wind turbines. They don't work because you can't power an electric grid that with energy that shuts down every time a cloud goes by or every time the wind changes speed.  You have to have back-up plants burning coal, gas or oil. And since we don't have those plants in New Jersey anymore, we have to buy that electricity from hundreds of miles away.

Second, Mike Sherrill can't use a so-called state-of emergency to freeze electric rates. She ought to know that we have something called a Constitution.  That Constitution says that the government can't take private property without "just compensation". The government can't force a private business to sell something for less than it costs to make it or less than it costs to buy it.

But let's go along and say Mikie Sherrill does have the power to declare a State of Emergency. Suppose Governor Sherrill says that Atlantic City Electric can't charge customers extra to buy expensive electricity out of state. What happens then?  How are we going to get electricity if New Jersey is now producing only half of the electricity we use each day.  Do you think those power plants hundreds of miles away are going to lose money selling electricity to New Jersey?  Where's the money going to come from? Higher taxes?

The bottom line is that Mikie Sherrill is lying through her teeth. She knows that he so-called "state of emergency" would get thrown out by the courts in less than an hour.  So this part of Mikie Sherrill's TV ad is ridiculous.  The only one who makes any sense is Republican Jack Ciattarelli. He has been telling us for years that the only way to bring down electric rates is to reopen, rebuild or replace the six power plants that, Governor Murphy shut down.  Some of them you could re-open by clicking a switch. You could quickly re-open the closed nuclear power plant at Oyster Creek in Lacey Township.  The power plant at Beesley's Point is a bigger problem. The Democrats couldn't just put that power plant in mothballs to see if the wind turbines worked. They demolished the whole plant, the smokestack and the cooling tower. But you can even rebuild that quickly. There are natural gas pipelines nearby. The electric transmission lines are still in place. So is the zoning and permits.  You can do fast track construction there and get something with natural gas open pretty quickly. 

So everything in that Mikie Sherrill TV ad is total lie. I have to admire how Democrats can pack so many lies into just 30 seconds!

And I forgot to mention one more big lie. She claims she was a tough prosecutor. No, Mikie Sherill was not a prosecutor. That is a lie! If you look at her resume, you see she spent four years with a woke law firm that sued big companies to promote all sorts of woke causes. Then she worked at the U.S. Attorney's office in Newark for five years.  But she wasn't a prosecutor.  Her title was "outreach and re-entry coordinator".  Her job was to get criminals counseling, housing and jobs when they got out of prison.  In her last year, they made Mikie Sherrill a prosecutor to fluff up her resume. However, she quit before she did any real prosecuting.  They had her plea bargain about two dozen marijuana possession cases during her last few months. Then she looked for a job in what she called the field of criminal justice reform, whatever that is. But she never found a job. After a year, she started running for Congress.

Then in 2017, somebody gave Mikie Sherrill $2.7 million to win the Democratic Primary Election for the House of Representatives. And in 2018, Mike Sherrill won the Democratic nomination. Then she defeated the Republican Jay Weber during the Nancy Pelosi Blue Wave of 2018.  By the way, I won the Republican Primary election that same year with only $30,000.

So now you see all the lies in Mikie Sherrill's 30 second TV ad. She pretends that she was a combat helicopter pilot, but she spent most of her time in the navy on land behind a desk.  She says she's going to freeze electric bills, but she knows she can't. She calls herself a prosecutor, but all she did was help criminals.

And then she has another ad where she claims she's going to cut property taxes. But she can't do that either. That is because New Jersey has a state income tax that is supposed to be dedicated to property tax relief. However, the Democrats have misused that income tax for the past 40 years. Instead of using that money to cut everybody's property taxes, Democrats use 80% of that money to cut property taxes in just a handful of Democrats run cities. Everyone in suburban Republican towns pays more. There's no way a Democrat like Mikie Shirrell is going to take income tax money away from corrupt, mismanaged Democrat cities to cut property taxes in well-run Republican suburbs.

By the way, this is why you have such low property taxes in towns like Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Bridgeton , Camden and Newark even though you have so much waste, fraud and corruption there.  Meanwhile,  all the suburbs that vote Republican get clobbered with high property taxes. This is what Democrat Governor Corzine did, this is what Murphy did and Democrat Mikie Sherrill will do the same thing if she's elected.

Two years ago, Mikie Sherrill was one of one hundred and thirty Democrats who co-sponsored a bill in Congress to spend ten million dollars on a fake reparations program for slavery.

Real reparations force people who do something wrong to compensate the people they injure. Fake reparations force people who never owned slaves to pay money to people who never were slaves.

The whole idea of reparations for slavery is based on a lie. The crime, poverty and illiteracy in many black communities today were caused by socialist Democrat welfare programs in the nineteen sixties. They did not exist in the nineteen fifties. They were not caused by slavery in the eighteen sixties.

There are more than five hundred thousand illegal migrants in New Jersey today. That’s more than 5% of our population. This is why our taxes are so high. State taxes give free food, housing, medical care, to illegals.

Our property taxes pay for expensive bilingual programs in our public schools. Our gas, electric and water bills have extra fees to pay for illegals. We also pay for extra police and jails and interpreters at every level of government.

This is because Governor Murphy ordered every state, county, and local employee in New Jersey to violate their Constitutional oaths of office. He ordered them not to enforce federal immigration laws.

This makes us a confederate state, not a sanctuary state.

Mikie Shirrell, like almost every Democrat, has promised to continue this.

Mikie Sherrill is the Democratic candidate for Governor. Her TV ads say that she has a plan to cut our electric bills. That is an absolute lie.

She knows that the state can’t force private companies to sell electricity, or anything else, for less than it costs to buy it.

Electric companies raised their rates because they have to buy very expensive electricity from out of state. That is because Governor Murphy destroyed six productive power plants during the past eight years.

The only way to cut electric bills is to rebuild, replace, or reopen those six power plants. Republicans like Jack Ciattarelli are promising to do that.

Democrats like Mike Sherrill are not. They like what Governor Murphy did.
