The knowledge of God's will leads to fruitfulness, growth, strengthening, and thanksgiving. All of these elements should be present in the life of a believer so each one will please Him in all respects.

Paul gave thanks for the Colossian believers' faith, hope, and love, all of which were products of the gospel's work in their lives. God wants these characteristics to grow in you and in your church.

Though he was not one of the Twelve Apostles, Paul was an apostle of Christ Jesus. Apostles provided eyewitness testimony of the risen Lord and furthered the work of Jesus in building His church. Their impact continues to this day.

Though Paul initially persecuted the church, the Lord Jesus transformed him into a servant of the church. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Paul's robust ministry in the First Century continues to transform the world for Christ.
