In week two we will examine two of the kingdom parables of Christ where he

describes what it means to adopt a kingdom perspective. We will identify

what the kingdom of God is all about and what has to change within our

perspective in order to pursue the kingdom objectives.

The opening session in the Forgotten confessions series is an examination

of Philippians 3:7-11 in which Paul says he would count all things as loss

for the surpassing value of knowing Christ. As we begin 2018, we need to

dedicate ourselves to know Christ, the power of his resurrection and the

fellowship of his suffering and experience of His death.

Culmination: The final time the voice of God will be heard by the world is

at the return of the Son of God to call His church home.  In this final

week of the series we will be encouraged by the soon return of Christ.

Incarnation: This is part one of a two-part message on the voice of God

being heard in the incarnation.  In week one, we will see the incarnation

from the perspective of mankind. We will see the Son of God come in human

form, as a servant and savior of the world.

Revelation: Continuing the “Do You Hear What I Hear?” series, we find the

second appearance of the voice of God when the whole world heard. His voice

appears in the created universe, through the conscience given to every man

and in the appearance of His Son through the incarnation.

This series is based upon the five times that God speaks and the whole

world heard. The first of those moments was at Creation. God spoke in

creation so that we would know we were not alone. His voice in creation

shows us a sovereign, creative and loving God who we can know and have

relationship.

"Monopoly Money" is a standalone message that helps us take an honest look

at who it is that actually has a monopoly on our money? This message will

help each of us assess how to regain control of our money so that it is

serving the spiritual purposes for which it was intended.

This message marks the 90th anniversary of Liberty Bible Church. The

message is based upon the conversation that David had with Solomon as he

transfers the kingdom of Israel to his son.  We will draw principles that

will apply to the legacy of Liberty as we celebrate the 90 years of history

and look forward to what God will do in the generation ahead.

Five Solas

The Protestant Reformation began with five theological commitments, known as the Five Solas. Based on the Latin phrases used, the principles are, Faith Alone, Scripture Alone, Christ Alone, Grace Alone and Glory to God Alone. This message will remind us of these important and precious truths.

In a three-week series, we will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the

Protestant Reformation. In week one, we will look at what God has done over

500 years of redemptive history.  We will look at the times of revival and

spiritual renewal as well as the dark ages. Ultimately, we will see the

pattern of God’s faithfulness and sovereignty.
