Whether we realize it or not money and possessions are too important to us. Jesus warns us to beware of greed because it is destructive but also because its deceptive. Very few people think greed is a problem with them therefore we don't give attention to it oftentimes to our own ruin. The bible gives us both a warning about greed and a prescription to end its vicious cycle.

Having conflict in relationships is normal but resolving conflict is not. We are natural born fighters but we have to learn how to deal with conflict in relationships in a constructive way. The best time to discuss and decide how to deal with conflict is not during the conflict when tempers are raging but before the conflict begins so we can defuse the conflict and repair the relationship.

Everything in life is built on trust. Whether knowingly or unknowingly we exercise trust every day in every choice we make. The tragedy is that oftentimes we give our trust to things that cannot bear the weight of it and we suffer the consequences of it. What we trust in is the foundation we build our lives on and in order to have real life we must build our lives on Jesus as its foundation.
