Pastor Ben challenges us to serve God by bringing others closer to Him. We can have many excuses to avoid our callings, but we need to remember that God is bigger and stronger than our circumstances, and He will empower us if we step out in faith.

Jesus overcame several barriers to save a man who needed Christ. Many people would have said the man could not have been saved, and would not have wanted him to be saved. The largest impact we can show the world is a changed life. After Jesus changes a life, people should want to stay with Him all the time. However, a changed life is called to tell everybody around about Christ in their lives.

Mother’s Day is a day not only to show appreciation for our mothers, but it is also a day to remember that we are called to honor our mothers. Pastor Ben shows us how we can honor God by honoring our mothers.

Jesus is to be our pattern for our lives. He easily could have gotten Himself out of the pain He went through on the cross. Instead, He knew that the needs of other people far exceeded His own desires. Therefore, we are to have the same mindset, and be obedient to loving others.
