* The mall, which openly advertises being open on Sundays, argues that these laws do not apply to it as it is built on state-owned land.

Bergen County, known for its stringent enforcement of these laws to reduce weekend traffic, has kept these laws active since voters decided to retain them in 1980 for traffic control.

Known as the Panic of 1857, the crash reverberated across the Atlantic, exposing the fragility of a rapidly expanding economy bound to global markets. Unlike earlier panics, which had been largely domestic in scope, this financial disaster underscored the United States’ growing entanglement with European finance and the risks of overextension in both banking and industry.

"The younger generation will not tolerate the subordination of US foreign policy to Israel or any other foreign power. As Dr. Paul and Col. Macgregor pointed out, the wars will not end until the inevitable financial collapse forces them to end. The wars will then be unaffordable and, by necessity, America will be forced to turn inward to tend to its own problems.

"When this will occur is unknown but do all you can to prepare. Keep the faith. Be fearless. Pray. Act in faith. Have children, start a business, speak out, write, tell the truth, do whatever you can."

* How The Ukraine War Could ‘End Tomorrow’ If The US Wanted - Jeffrey Sachs

Sachs said bluntly, "The war in Ukraine could be ended in a single day if Washington wanted to... if the US simply but firmly declared NATO will not expand to Ukraine.

* Professor Sachs five-point blueprint for peace: one, end CIA covert operations (intelligence is necessary, but regime change is not); two, depoliticize the intelligence agencies; three, close overseas military bases. They waste resources and create enemies; four, aggressively seek diplomacy (we need diplomats, not bombers); and five, educate the public (the American people must understand our real interests).

"Our government must stop listening to the war profiteers and start listening to the people. We need brave leaders, honest media, and informed citizens. That’s how peace begins."

* This initiative focuses on stations heavily reliant on funds from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, particularly in remote locations like Alaska and Kansas.

Foundations involved also include the Ford Foundation, the MacArthur Foundation, the Schmidt Family Foundation, Pivotal Ventures, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
