Libraries.Today (with Dr. Christopher Harris)
The Libraries.Today National Leadership Grant, made possible in part through funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, is wrapping up a two year project looking at school libraries post-COVID. In the first forum, held in May, 2022, we looked back at how school libraries pivoted to meet the needs of their communities during the pandemic. In the second forum held in March, 2023, we looked ahead to positioning school libraries for success in the post-COVID education world. Along the way, we also looked at timely concerns like book challenges, the need to build stakeholder partnerships, and the ongoing work around diversity on both sides of the book.
