On "The Library" this week,  New Jersey born MC Rah Digga. During part 1 of their interview, Digga discusses bridging the Hip-Hop gap between today's youth and the older generation, the difference between rap and Hip-Hop culture and which question she would rather not hear again.

On "The Library with Tim Einenkel", the New Jersey born MC believes there's an agenda in commercial Hip-Hop to push negative stereotypes in order to make a profit. "It's more profitable to push the negative stereotypes about us then to play a Talib Kweli or play a Common Sense., " she told Tim during their interview on "The Library." Digga continued, 'It's almost like the music you heard nowadays, you don't have to use your brain. you don't even have to think. there's no stream of consciousness to it. There's nothing sparking debates. It's just all pimps and hoes."

Legendary Pharcyde MC SlimKid3 and Jurassic 5 DJ/producer DJ Nu-Mark released a new collaborative LP via Delicious Vinyl on September 9th titled “SlimKid3 and DJ Nu-Mark”. DJ Nu-Mark dropped by The Library and shared a gem about how Sir Paul McCartney and a broken turntable fit into the first Jurassic 5 reunion show.

New York MC R.A. The Rugged Man dropped by The Library with Tim Einenkel to talk about his career, his records, marketing in Hip-Hop, and what role race plays in rap music. "Good music is like good food...You never have to do advertisement for it," Queens artist, Cormega told Tim on The Library during their interview. Cormega discussed commercial rap artists and where they'll live in Hip-Hop history. Cormega didn't think these artists hold any importance in the culture. Cormega continued, "When people feel you, then tend to flock to you. They tend to be attracted to you. It's magnetism. A lot of these artists; those one hit wonder dudes or these fad dudes, they don't have that. And when the fad dies, you're done."
