Though not officially formed as a group until 2005, EMC came together in 2001 while touring together on Masta Ace's Disposable Arts tour. In 2006, the group's first collaborative track was released online, titled "Four Brothers". eMC's first group effort, The Show was released on iTunes on February 26th 2008, and the CD release was on March 25th  2008. EMC is made up of emcees Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Punchline and Stricklin. They’re back with a new EP, “The Turning Point” which is due out May 20th, 2014. This week on The Library, I’m joined by EMC’s Wordsworth to discuss the new EP, the new EMC album (set to be released Summer 2014) and his career thus far.

He has linked up once again with producer Duplicuts on a collaboration known as The Immortals Project. The immortals project has released a new album called " Rogue Agents." In the interview El defines what good rap music is to him, and his soon to be released album with Sadat X called "XL".
