Somerset Libraries set up a Pop-Up Library called “ Woodsies Library” at Glastonbury Festival 2023.

Located just a few steps away from The Woodsies stage, we welcomed many visitors to our library.

We welcome local author Gill Oliver to LibraryCast. Gill talks about her book “ Joe Faber and the Optimists “.  May is Stroke Awareness Month and Gill’s fictional book is an entertaining story about the day to day impact a stroke can have on a family.

Her book is based on a few real-life characters and Terry, Gill’s husband, joins LibraryCast as our surprise special guest.
