Miranda is a personal finance enthusiast and content creator. She creates educational content on Instagram and YouTube for millennials who want to take charge and make better informed decisions where their finances are concerned.

As a BCompt Financial Accounting graduate 3 years ago she struggled with managing het personal finances and instead of being ashamed she decided to make a change. Looking for information that would help her create a healthy relationship with money, she was confronted with challenges of finding information from people she could relate to, so she decided to share her journey for anyone who found themselves in her shoes.

Her content focuses on 4 financial pillars which include budgeting, ditching debt, saving for emergencies and investing (building wealth).

On today's episode, I am joined in conversation with a remarkable woman Lebogang Nthabiseng Mokgosi.

Nthabi is a Brand Builder, The Brains behind iLDesigns a Content Creator and Entrepreneur.

Nthabi started her YouTube channel Real Talk with Nthabi as an extension of her brand as a public speaker. Through this platform, she shares motivational content from empowerment & transformation, to social media tools and digital marketing tips. She has travelled across the country doing both business and inspirational talks as a public speaker. Further to this, she started Real Talk with Nthabi Foundation (RTWF) which has given back to the community and run successful events such as Chance for Change Youth Seminars and the flagship annual #findthebox campaign. RTWN Sanitary Towels and Deodorants Campaign was launched in December 2015, as a means to bring back the confidence of girls and boys from disadvantaged backgrounds and her foundation has been involved in communities across South Africa with the aim of the campaigns to largely focus on Youth empowerment and Education. In 2017, the foundation was featured by Women 24 magazine. She has partnered with organisations such as Trek with Mandela and Total South Africa.

Nthabi believes that making a difference even to one person goes a long way and as a foundation, they intend to plant seeds that show that “Together we can do more”.

On today's episode, I am joined in conversation with a phenomenal woman Joey Dlamini.

Joey is a qualified social worker and the Founder of Beaccentuated, a non-profit that seeks to raise capable girls and boys by shattering stereotypes and misconceptions that divided them. Beaccentuated provides a space where all genders can thrive.

She is also a parenting expert with a heart and message that we should normalise the imperfect journey of parenting. She has learned the value of parenting with compassion and connection through her own childhood experiences and now as a mother of three.  Parents love her candid and practical advice that they use to not only challenge themselves but also connect with their children.

Joey's dedication, hard work and determination to raise well-rounded, confident children inspired her to write her very first book The Teen Top 25: foundational life lessons for a thriving journey to adulthood .

In this book, she talks to teens about the different challenges that they might face on their journey and give them tools on how to navigate them. The Book aims to start conversations between parents and children as they get to learn from each other and walk this journey together . It also reminds them of their abilities and how to harness them.

As a mother she believes it is important to heal from any past hurts and not forget yourself while also taking care of your children. One of her most exciting projects is learning how to navigate  technology as taught by her teen son Oki.

Boledi is passionate about holistic wellness and fitness as a form of mental health care.

She is the founder of an Instagram series called Mental Health and Motherhood with Boledi. This series focuses on such an important conversation on mental health during pregnancy and postpartum.

#mentalhealthandmotherhoodwithboledi. She also shares content based on her conscious parenting journey and her motherhood experiences. Boledi has further gone onto empowering Women by hosting a yearly summit aimed at celebrating and uplifting women.

My phenomenal guest today wears many brilliant hats and to top it all off, Boledi is also a loving Wife to her amazing and supportive husband and a Mother of 3.
