Welcome back everybody! We have a new episode that is a little more visual this time, but can certainly be listened to as well. I'm talking about the aviation specific gear we wore and used when we flew the AH-64E Apache gunship into combat. If you have the time pull out the phone or plop down on the couch and watch this episode on YouTube on my channel. That's BravoWhiskey SixFour for the uninitiated out there! Go check it out like, subscribe, share and all that social media stuff.
Thanks again for stopping by. Hope everyone is doing well. Take care and Fly safe!
What's up everybody just want to welcome you back for another episode. This week we talk about a few factors that might help you decide which weapon system to use next time you're flying the AH-64 in combat! There are a few to choose from including the M230E1 Chain gun, AGM-114 Hellfire missile and 2.75" Folding Fin Aerial Rockets. Which one are you going to use and why?
This will be available on YouTube on video soon so check out the BravoWhiskey64 channel and leave a like and comment!

Take care and fly safe!
I just closed out another logbook and after about 3,400 hours of flight time and 35 plus models of aircraft flown I reflect on some of my more notable memories. Going through them all would take several hours so maybe there will be another podcast on this in the future. Hope you all enjoy some of the stories!
Correction* at one point I refer to helium in the wheels, well I meant nitrogen. No flammable wheels on airplanes don't worry!
Take care, Fly safe
Hey everybody welcome back for another episode where I talk about the time I almost flew my Apache into the ground on a combat mission! To understand why takes a relatively in-depth discussion of visual illusions, pilot night vision systems and the situation I was in to understand how I ended up going from 2,000 feet above the ground to only 150 feet.
Not all upcoming stories are harrowing near death experiences filled with hyperbole, but they're definitely the ones that stick out the most.
Take care and fly safe
We have a great episode in which we step away from Apaches for a minute to talk about what it is like to jump into a combat zone during the beginning of the Iraq war with Rich Bryant.
Want to thank Rich for coming on the show and congratulations on your recent retirement after 20+ years of service in the U.S. Army!
Hope you all enjoy the show!
Welcome back to the podcast for another episode. Mixing it up a little this time as it's just me. Finally figuring out the audio and moving to a podcast only format for the foreseeable future. Join me as I talk a little about one of the more memorable missions on my last deployment.

Today's guest is Kyle Cuter with over 28 years of service in the U.S. Army. Kyle and I were both deployed in Afghanistan when we received the call that another Apache had been shot and damaged and we were to go and assess the helicopter and if possible, fly it back to a location where it could receive major repairs.
The events that unfolded lead to us losing an engine inflight over the inhospitable desert in northern Afghanistan
If you haven't listened to the previous podcast EP 005 Shot and forced to land in Afghanistan, go back and check it out as it is the precursor to this story!
Listen as we talk about it all from engine failure in an Apache, life as a maintenance test pilot and how Kyle managed to bike out of the mountains and get 27 miles to his house after a heart attack!
Another awesome episode and thanks to Kyle for coming on!
Like, Subscribe, Comment we appreciate all our listners.
Enjoy the show!
Listen today as I talk to Adam about his experience taking a 12.7mm DShK heavy machine gun round through the fuel cell of his Apache helicopter and jamming his flight controls!
Appreciate Adam coming on the show and sharing his experience with us!
Fly safe!
Listen as I talk with Jerad Rivera. Started as an E3 in the Army and transitioned to civilian pilot flying overseas contract work for the government before becoming an airline captain flying the Embraer 145.
Listen as we talk a little of everything from aviation, deployments, life and what it takes to succeed. Even the rooster gets in on the podcast! It's awesome to see soldiers take advantage of the opportunities given to them and not only succeed, but thrive.
Want to thank Jerad for being on the show and fly safe!
