Life After Band

From '94 to '99, Blaze Bayley was the singer of Iron Maiden, one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time. He was already a huge fan of the band, and joining them felt like a dream.
In this episode, Blaze opens up about this life-changing experience, his ongoing solo career, his love for music, mental health, hard times, and a few other things.

Dan Didier was the drummer and one of the founding members of The Promise Ring, an alternative / second-wave emo band that went on to influence many bands over the following decades.
Their records, such as Nothing Feels Good, Very Emergency, and Wood/Water, remain very much alive in people's hearts and ears.
Dan and I sat down to talk about how his life changed after the band and what his feelings are toward it.
