An opportunity for anyone out there who doesn't have similar Critical Care support initiatives in their area to become part of our online community.
To have a place online to go to so you can share and listen to the experience and views of others.
We hope that by sharing online, through our podcasts, we can provide some sort of online substitute, in whatever small way we can.
Northumbria Critical Care Support
Our regular meetings are very much a relaxed, social gathering, with tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes! They cover whatever we want to chat about, including our experiences of critical care and our experiences, problems and feelings after finally leaving hospital.
We even have a few giggles, believe it or not!
In our previous podcast, we promised to play some "live" snippets from one of our meetings to give listeners an insight and a "feel" for the sort of chat which can happen.
A local group offering support to ex-patients of critical care and their families and friends. We hold regular "drop-in" meetings in the Northumbria NHS area. Details on our website.
