Today, I chat with Zachary Miller about Life After Trauma: acceptance, awareness, accessing resources and moving forward. As a child, Zachary was kidnapped and sexually assaulted before escaping something that would shape him for the rest of his life. Now, he does what he can to raise awareness about child abuse in Canada and volunteers his time with Child Protection Services to make sure children of abuse and their families are supported when they need it the most. In this episode, we discuss lack of support as a survivor, severe lack of empathy in school and communities, navigating relationships and how you can live the life you want, despite what happened to you.
