In-patient care, whether short or long-term, can sound scary and intimidating. I would never want this to hold you back from receiving treatment.
In this episode, I break down my experiences with in-patient care, including two short term stays and one long term stay.
Between September 2011 - November 2011, I received treatment at @homewood, a psychiatric centre in Ontario, Canada. It was the best thing I've ever done for myself, it gave me a second chance at life and I am forever grateful.
I actually still have my Homewood binder, full of all the materials I used during my stay! I break that bad boy open and give you a show and tell of what life is like in a long term treatment facility such as Homewood. What my day to day looked like, the classes I took and what I liked most about it.
Take a walk down memory lane with me!
