Phd student at Mercer University, Leah Howard gives us the scoop on resources that current and student athletes can use when they feel as though they may be experiencing mental illness or not quite feeling like themselves. Howard gives advice and a gleaming perspective on mental illness while also elaborating on the stigmas and misconceptions of mental health in college athletics as a whole.

It's been a long time coming for athletes and the process of being able to get paid for name and likeness but its finally here.

NCAA Board of Governors member Nicholas Clark provides insight on how the NCAA came to the conclusion that this in fact was the right thing to do. 

Clarks background is the ultimate reflection of transitioning from a student athlete to a leader that is capable of making powerful decisions. A 2017 graduate from Coastal Carolina University where Clark suited up for the mens football program, Clark is a young professional that is helping to shape the landscape for what is happening and what is to come for collegiate athletics. 

Clark also clears the air about the controversial topic are the NCAA and G-League competing?

Brandon Sherrod is a former Yale University basketball standout and he is now living out his dreams of playing professional basketball overseas, but Brandon gives the insight of what it takes to thrive overseas, his plans when basketball comes to an end, and his many talents that got beyond the court.

Jared Johnston spent his college football career as the quarterback for Bowie State University.

Like many college athletes, Johnston had dreams of playing professional football, but once he realized that was not going to happen for him, he began figuring out his next steps for his life after college.

Johnston has a published book titled "From Cleats to Loafers: To Everything In Between" because he too believes that life after college for former student athletes is a topic worth discussing.

Along with being able to complete a book, Johnston is now a real estate agent. 

Graduating from college can be scary and graduating from college without a plan can be.... scarier, but not for Cleo. As a 2019 graduate she has ditched the status quo of going right into working and has been traveling the world as she figures out what it is she wants to do in the long run in her career. Traveling the world has helped her realize their is no rush when you're trying to figure life out.

Angela Lewis is a former division 1 basketball player who played her collegiate career at St. Louis University.

As a post-graduate, Lewis played basketball professionally in Germany.

At the end of her playing career, Lewis began coaching and mentoring. A form of mentoring is through her writing, Lewis is the author of three books, one of which she is most proud of is titled Post Moves: The Female Athletes Guide to Dominate Life After College.
