Scott and Charity discuss the small business that they own and operate on a day to day basis and how that business interacts with their full time ministry of Saint City Church. While the business is wholly separate from their ministry, each plays a part in the other. Scott and Charity both try to demonstrate Christian values in business and find every opportunity they can to minister the gospel to others.

Being offended - it happens everywhere, to everyone and can often be the main focus of our attention, so much so that we usually want to share it with others. Maybe even place it on others. Offense takes our energy away from God and places it on hurt and pain. It restricts us and hinders our relationships with others and even with God Himself. In fact, offense is the exact opposite of the very thing that God promises us - forgiveness. Scott and Charity dive head first into this topic on today's episode of Life Along the Way, as they discuss some of their personal encounters with offense and how it has affected their lives.

Galatians chapter 5 talks about what the Bible refers to as ‘works of the flesh’ - the first three being sexual immorality, impurity and sensuality. These three are specifically what Scott and Charity dive into discussion about in today’s episode. Often these works of the flesh present themselves as an internal struggle, so we must lean on God to help us overcome and give us the gifts He truly wants to present us with - the fruits of the spirit.

Scott and Charity talk about one of the most difficult times they have walked through in their time together - their journey to starting a family. After a difficult time of waiting for a child, they were met with a tragic moment of heartbreak. Struck with immense grief, they looked to God for guidance and from this heartbreak they were finally able to find Hope. The toughest times in our lives can often tempt us to doubt our faith, but if we have patience and trust in the Lord’s timing, these times can turn into great blessings.
