This episode looks at Galatians 6:9 and is an encouragement to the mom, the homemaker to keep going. There will be a harvest in our good works, the mundane tasks, the endless responsibilities but it is the Lord’s work.

The moments of exhaustion, the setbacks, the challenges and the overwhelm is something we as women and moms face but setting our hope in Him and not growing weary in doing good we will reap a harvest.

I have been sharing alot more on social media about my experience with grief. It's not the most popular subject but it is one that needs to be talked about more because we all go through it at some point and some of us really have a hard time helping others through it especially our own kids.

Grief is huge in kids and I am a firm believer that God can speak to their hearts in ways we can't but it is our job to point them to the creator.

I was reminded that many hearts are hurting as school begins. The grieving parents who face the fact that their child is not here. They feel this overwhelming displacement or feel so out of sorts that they do not know what to do with these intense feelings.

In this episode I share what I did when I had to find a way to "do something" to help work through my grief. I needed to find a way to honor my daughter but also work through my pain.

I hope this speaks to your grieving heart today.

The Apostle Paul wrote this verse from prison in which he was learning to be content no matter the circumstances that surround him. He wanted to convey this to one of the churches who had been so gracious to him.

This verse applies to us as Homemakers. Our homes and what goes on beyond the walls of our homes can be chaotic, overwhelming and the world wants to push in and tell us that we deserve more or should go out and gain more. But it is written that we find true contentment in Christ.

When we as Homemakers exude contentment no matter our present circumstance then that really sets a tone for our homes and gives a great example to our kids.
