Who in their right mind would call persecution a blessing?
Have you ever really been persecuted?
Persecuted for doing what's right?
It seems backwards and upside down.
That's the nature of the Kingdom of God.
God doesn't do things the same way we do.
His ways are higher than ours.
In the next 12 episodes we are going to be looking at some rather paradoxical, but important things pertaining to our life and lifestyle as citizens of the Kingdom of God.

Have you ever been plagued with a thought or a song you can't get out of your head?
How about a case of hiccups you can't shake.
Or, you can't stop sneezing or yawning.
We all get "stuck" on things are we just can't seem to shake some of the others.
Fear, guilt, and shame can be like that.
We might intellectually understand that God has forgiven us.
However, sometimes there's a residual battle that goes on and it needs to be addressed.
The New Covenant in the Blood of Jesus Christ does that very thing.
God can deliver us from the torment of an oppressed mind!

The age old problem of the "have's" and the "have not's" is solved in the New "Cut" Covenant made in the shed Blood of Jesus (all of it... unto death).
People have been fighting over this issue of inequality for as long as there has been time.
The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer... except in the New Covenant community.
Those of us who walk in this New Covenant never have to take a seat in the back of the bus again.
We have all been given access to God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
He has cut a New Covenant with powerful promises within it.
Being free from the tyranny of being the evil oppressor and being free from being under evil oppression is over... if we know what has been made available to us.

So, I agreed.

Because, God is into "Covenant Relationship".

Anyone who is a parent knows that feeling.
"Why don't they get it?"
Anyone who knows anyone knows that feeling.
God knows that feeling.

He developed an entirely new, ingeneous way of getting that very thing to take place without turning us into robots.

Sometimes religion makes my head spin and my stomach hurt.
Highly religious people tend to make me nervous and uncomfortable when they catch me off guard.
I don't get that same thing from people who have a real, healthy relationship with God.
There's something peaceful and uplifting when we get together.
It's like a couple of magnifying glasses sitting side by side and magnifying the LORD together.
Well, that peace and unity are the product of being in "covenant" with God.
However, the average person when asked to give specific details as to what is involved in the greatest covenant ever cut wouldn't really know what to say or think.
We are going to change all of that.
What good is money in the bank if you don't know it's yours.
The same thing goes with the provisions and promises found in the covenant made for us to partake in by the shed blood and broken body of Jesus Christ.
