Americans often see dance as something outside of themselves that has to be taught- opposed to something that is tied into their everyday living and culture. In today's American professional dance world, emotions are often policed and suppressed. The irony is that every time you move your body your brain is processing emotions! Oh and I forgot to mention- Italy is guilty of FASCISM.
