2020 was not supposed to like like this for many reason for my fiance and I. We never thought we would be going through In Vitro Fertilization during a global pandemic.

The emancipation proclamation was read by president Abraham Lincoln on September 22, 1862, and was effective as of January 1, 1863, but for two years after Texas still held slaves. On June 19th 1865 in Galveston Texas, union soldiers led by Union army general Gordon Granger announced federal orders that all slaves in Texas were free.

It's been hard to put what has transpired in the past couple of weeks into words, but here is my humble tribute. First aired on KQBH 101.5 FM on 6/2/20.
