Who is God? There is so much to say. Who is God? God is creator. God is holy. God is love. God is powerful. God is gracious, merciful, kind, forgiving. God is eternal. God is bigger than whatever you think about Him.

Storms will inevitably come. The question is: how will you respond? Will your faith grow stronger or fall apart? The difference lies in your foundation. Are you building on temporary things like comfort, security, or money? Or are you building on the solid foundation of Jesus’ teachings? In this message, we explore the importance of building your life on the rock, not the sand, so that when storms hit, your life stands firm.

God is the only person in the universe worthy of our whole love and lives, and he is often the last one to get any of it, even among Christians. Why is that? We live in a world that is engineered to steal our love from God. How many of you have felt your attention and affection pulled from God by the world around us? And one of the greatest tools the world uses to steal our affection from God is hyper-sexuality. Where sex is in everything. Sex sells. This sermon isn’t just about sexuality, it’s ultimately about love for the world vs love for God. Matthew 14:22-33 The story of Jesus walking on the water and calling Peter to get out of the boat and walk with Him. Have you ever gotten out of the boat? Done something risky for Jesus? Exercised crazy faith? The story ends with all of the disciples worshiping Jesus. “Truly you are the Son of God.” This is the first time they say that, and it comes after watching Him feed the multitude and walk on water—do things that only God can do.

Jesus is the Pioneer, the perfecter, the author, and finisher of our faith. We look at him so we don’t lose heart. We look at him so we don’t grow weary. Crazy faith comes from fixing our eyes on Jesus. One of God's name's is Jehovah Jireh—God our Provider! Jesus provided forgiveness and eternal life to you and me by giving himself on the cross. Jesus is Jehovah Jireh - God our provider.
