Week 3 of the series, Winning the War in Your Mind, focuses on this concept: change your thoughts, change your life through the Reframing Principle. Our thoughts lead us in all sorts of directions because we have lenses that distort reality. You currently have a lens or a thought paradigm that’s separating you from Jesus. So, ask yourself this question: are my strongest thoughts leading me closer to Jesus or away from him? If you want to win the war in your mind and establish a close relationship with Jesus, you have to understand the Reframing Principle. Join us as we learn how to recognize our lens, and reframe our perspective toward Jesus.

Week 2 of the series, Winning the War in Your Mind, is all about how to change your way of thinking through the rewire principle. Based on the book, “Winning the War in Your Mind” by Craig Groeschel, Pastor Amy Miller teaches us that we must rewire our brains to renew our minds. If we want to win the war in our minds, we have to be willing to rewire our thought patterns and rewire our brains. Join us as we learn how to change our ways of thinking and fix our thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure and lovely (Philippians 4:8).

We live in complicated times, but following Jesus is simple! Love God with your whole being and love people as yourself. Love is doing what's best for another, no matter what it costs you.

Continuing our series, “Love This City”, Pastor Michael Wittwer says that worship is fixing our attention and affection on Jesus for who he is and what he’s done. It’s not just singing songs together, its living life centered on Jesus.

Today we are talking about the Imaging Community. We are saying what we should DO is love our city, but first we need to know who we ARE. Because what you do flows out of who you are. So we could talk about this and do Love Week and have it just be a one time thing we do, or we can learn about and step into our identity as the imaging community and see that who we’ve been created to be is a community that is called to be deeply incarnational in the lives, structures, organizations and systems in our city to partner with God in the work of redemption. We’re gonna find it’s not just what we’re called to do, it’s actually who we are created to be!

There are unpredictable moments in life when the clouds part and we see what really matters. Watching a movie or a sunset. Attending a funeral, witnessing a birth. Sometimes when we face our mortality, we see what’s most important. Jesus faces his immanent death John 17, and while facing death he prays with incredible clarity about what really matters.

Jesus said "Take heart, I am with you always, and I have overcome the world." Yes, trouble persists, but like darkness fades as the sun rises, so trouble will fade away and cease to exist when Jesus returns.

Remain and Abide in Jesus. That is what he asks you to do in John 15, then he will do the rest. Then watch how he will bear the fruit in you.
