On Christmas we celebrate that we don’t have to be afraid. We celebrate good news, of great joy, for all people. Jesus is still Immanuel, God with us! May hope overcome despair, joy overcome fear, and may you experience the profound, self-sacrificing, unconditional love of God in Jesus this Christmas.

True disciples abide and obey His Word.

Because of his amazing grace, Jesus doesn’t condemn me, instead he calls me up, out and in.

It’s impossible to treat Jesus with indifference. His claims are so outrageous that you just can’t ignore them.

Grumbling is dwelling on what I don’t have. Gratitude is dwelling on what I do have.

We need a relationship with Jesus, not a religion about Jesus.

God is inviting you to step into the risk of relationship with Him.

Jesus makes this wild claim that He can satisfy the deepest longings of our hearts. He is the living water that satisfies our thirst; He is the bread of life that satisfies our hunger.

The full life that Jesus has for you is a life free of envy! But how?

When Jesus meets the religious teacher, he tells him that he must start over—he must be born again.
