Day 19 of Living in Response is a deep reflection on Visionary Weekend - a community-based event that brought me into profound connection with my body, spirit, others, and the visionary energy that’s alive in LA. Today was technically day 2, even though it was day 1 for me and I’ll be reporting back on day 3 tomorrow <3
This one’s unedited, unfiltered, and straight from my core (as usual!)
I forgot to mention I did a poetry and improv workshop and LOVEDDDD it!! Who am I?!?! lol.

1️⃣ The Power of Visionary Community
* I attended Visionary Weekend, hosted by Destiny (@destinythemuse), and it sparked something big inside me.
* The event gathered creatives, mystics, teachers, producers, and more—all living their vision.
* The panel format showed me how diverse paths still stem from a shared willingness to do things differently.
* The people who spoke from personal experience (“I” instead of “you”) hit me the hardest. This affirmed the core of this podcast: sharing from lived experience.
2️⃣ Embodied Listening & Interoception Practice
* One of the first workshops paired us up to explore deep listening—from the body, not the mind.
* Rather than reflecting back words, we reflected sensations.
* This had a profound impact—people cried, opened up, and truly felt seen and heard.
* This embodied approach is what I’ve been unknowingly practicing for years: interoception—the ability to feel what’s going on inside the body.
3️⃣ Developing Interoception as a Lifestyle
* I’ve made embodiment a way of life, not just a practice.
* Interoception helps me:
* Make aligned decisions
* Navigate intuition vs fear
* Feel more meaning
* Say no to things that make me feel off
* I went from only sensing basic needs (like hunger or temperature) to using my body as a portal to energy, connection, and intuition.
4️⃣ Cannabis, Creativity, and Energy Perception
* Cannabis is an intentional ally in my spiritual practice—used to deepen presence, creative flow, or social connection.
* During the event, I noticed visual energy outlines around people and even plants.
* My reading with a spirit doctor unlocked deep ancestral insight, especially around my relationship with my father.
5️⃣ The Importance of Place, Belonging, and Vision
* LA has a unique energy—home to people chasing dreams and building a better world.
* I felt so seen among this community of innovators and dreamers.
* The event reminded me that insert yourself into community is sometimes the only way to find it.
* And it’s okay to be nervous. Discomfort is often the cost of expansion.
6️⃣ A Lifestyle of Feeling
* Everything in my life now runs through my body.
* From breathwork and massage to interpersonal conversations and spiritual insight, I interocept my way through life.
* Interoception is a biological sense—like touch or smell—that allows us to feel our inner landscape.
* It is also, in my view, the gateway to energy, intuition, creativity, and purpose.
7️⃣ The Feminine, the Masculine, and Authentic Integration
* A reading affirmed both the divine masculine protector energy that’s guided my path and the playful, feminine essence that loves red and champagne.
* Both are welcome. Both are natural.
* I’m no longer buying into the shame that says one has to be more “in her feminine” to be worthy of love or alignment.
8️⃣ This Podcast as a Living Practice
* Living in Response is not just a name—it’s an experiment in staying open.
* I share unedited, raw reflections because I’m building the courage to stay with what’s real now, not just what’s polished.
* And from this place, I’m proving to myself (and maybe to you too) that it’s okay to do things scared, to evolve the vision, and to keep showing up.
Eternal gratitude for this life and everyone / everything in it!
Mystically,
Belle
