You come to know God’s will for your life as you learn God’s Word. "Happiness belongs to those people who hear My Father's Word and keep it.” (Luke 11:28). There are three sources of naivety in the believer’s life starting with ignorance of the reality of your situation, your circumstances. Another is being influenced or inspired by the wrong people or led astray by even the right people. Don’t get your eyes on people. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith” (Heb 12:2). Accuracy of God’s Word being taught and learned is the issue. The third way is not realizing arrogance is a combination of sins and therefore is a corrupting power. Arrogance forms blind spots. Becoming a Christian is life-changing. “If any man is in Christ he is a new creature; old things are passed away and all things become new” (2 Col 5:17).
