In Exodus 4:1, Moses questioned his abilities, but God simply asked, “What’s that in your hand?” What Moses saw as useless—a stick—became a powerful tool in God’s hands. God focuses on what we have, not what we lack, and He works alongside us to accomplish great things.

The laying on of hands is a powerful method of healing seen throughout Scripture. Jesus used it often, showing that healing flows through this simple act. It’s not about the hands themselves, but the belief in the power behind them. As Romans 8:11 reminds us, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us, making healing possible through this action.

It's not about what we have, but what we believe God can do with it. Like the widow in 2 Kings 4:1, God uses what we already have to meet our needs. He wants to take what we offer, no matter how small, and multiply it for His purpose. Is there anything in your house that God can use? 

Freedom isn’t just about escaping; it’s about separating yourself from what keeps you stuck. Avoid the things and situations that feed your struggle. Trust in God’s wisdom to guide your decisions knowing that He never leads us into foolishness.

God has given each of us unique gifts to serve others. But these gifts don’t multiply unless we’re actively using them. Stewardship is key—are you using the grace God has given you, or letting it sit idle? When we act on what we’ve been given, God can multiply it.

It’s easy to focus on the bad, even when we have so much to be thankful for. Are you stuck in that trap of negative thinking? When we pause to focus on what’s going right and choose to rejoice, it shifts our perspective. Trusting God’s word in our situation brings clarity and peace, even when things feel tough.

God has equipped each of us with the grace we need to do what we’re called to do. Often, we get caught comparing our gifts and abilities to others, but the truth is, God has given each of us a unique purpose—and His grace to keep moving forward, even when mistakes or discouragement arise.
