When a person realizes the finished work of Christ as it pertains to their life they stop working, stressing, and trying to do what is already done. We are complete in Him. We have all the necessary parts. There is nothing else to do but appropriate.

Many have viewed God as someone who is inactive towards our needs. He has not shown Himself as one who doesn't act but as one who does. He is the Lord that heals you.

Much of the Body of Christ lives in a state of waiting on God to do something for them. Is He ignoring us or has he already given all we need? Do we need more power, grace, and love or has God already moved and we simply need to appropriate?

Because of so much misunderstanding of the finished work of Christ and the present tense possession of redemption, many believers are waiting on God. Their error is in thinking their victory will come. All we need is already a finished work.

It is a great tragedy that so many good things that God has done in us doesn't get any exposure. For various reasons many have concealed what should be revealed. When we act on what we have, know and can do, God shows up in a powerful way!

Many are tempted to do something else for God besides what He told them to do. They will make sacrifices when He values simple obedience. Even under the New Covenant of grace, obedience is still a high priority with God and is key to the life of faith.

People are often tempted to sacrifice the honor of their name for financial gain. In God's value system, our reputation for godliness and integrity is of far greater worth than riches. Your name is created by who you are and what you do.
