In week two of our series “The Veil,” Pastor Joshua showed us how looking at the design of the Old Testament tabernacle, we see how the veil separated people from the fullness of God’s presence. It wasn’t a sign of rejection, but a boundary of mercy, showing both God’s holiness and humanity’s need for redemption.

As we walk through the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Most Holy Place, we discover a powerful picture of the journey toward God and the barrier that once stood in the way.

The good news is that through Jesus Christ, the veil has been torn and the way into God’s presence has been opened.

We kicked off our brand new series “The Veil” this Sunday, a journey from separation to presence.

In this message, Pastor Joshua takes us back to the very beginning in Genesis 3 to uncover the first separation between humanity and the presence of God. What started as presence enjoyed in the Garden quickly became presence avoided, feared, replaced, and lost. But the story doesn’t end there. From the moment sin created distance, God began pursuing. What was lost in the Garden is restored through Jesus. Because of Him, the veil is no longer a barrier, it’s been torn, and we can draw near with confidence.

However, God says that we are His children, and when our value is rooted in what He says about us rather than what we might say about ourselves, our perspective begins to shift and the way we live our life changes.

In the final week of our Kingdom Minded series, Pastor Joshua Crouse challenges us to live lives that truly carry Kingdom value.

Looking at Nehemiah, we see how the people of God made a public commitment to Him and to one another. They didn’t just feel conviction, they acted on it. They bound themselves to God and His people, reordered every area of their lives around God’s Word and His presence, and took responsibility for the House of God.

This message reminds us that Kingdom-minded living isn’t passive. It’s intentional. It’s visible. It’s costly. Carrying Kingdom value means aligning our priorities, relationships, resources, and responsibilities with what matters most to God.
