Life Church: Smyrna Assembly of God

Have you ever wondered why the Bible says some of the things that it says or what is the back story for what you read? If so then you don’t want to miss a single Wednesday night starting on September 6 as we take a verse-by-verse, in-depth look at the Book of Colossians. During this series you will discover the beauty of why God made sure that this particular letter was written by Paul in the first few decades following the death of Jesus, why it has been preserved for us nearly 2,000 years later and what is its value to us in the 21st century.

Have you ever been wrongly judged by someone? Have you ever wrongly judged another person? Most of us can say “yes” to both questions and we’ve seen the problems that each causes. In this timely series, you will learn how to stop the vicious cycle and embrace the truth that there are “no stones allowed” in God’s kingdom.

Have you ever stopped to consider how your past serves as a guide to your future? Just like that is true with people it is also true with churches. In this message, Pastor Osbon reminds us of how God is using our rich 64 year history to prepare us to reach our future potential!

In light of the series of revival services that we have experienced over the past four months, we are committed to the model of Acts 2 where the followers of Christ experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit which was sustained by their willingness to grow closer to one another and to grow closer to God. This timely message series is intentionally designed to help us accomplish those goals.
