One big hindrance to receiving the healing that God has provided for all is a misunderstanding of what happened to Paul as recorded in 2 Corinthians 12. What was this "thorn?" Why did he get it? How does it relate to you?

The reason we can live free from curses like sickness is because we have been redeemed from the curse of the law. Now, when we rest in Jesus' finished work, there is nothing to disqualify us from the blessings of God.

Probably the clearest example of God’s will and plan for the body is shown in the life and ministry of Jesus. He never made anyone sick or refused to minister healing to them. This is a direct revelation of the will of God for all men for all time.

What you are focused on will determine whether or not you will recognize what God is saying to you.

Healing is necessary for us to effectively spread the gospel. Jesus needed it in His ministry and we need it in ours. God dealt with the root of sickness at the same time He dealt with sin - on the cross. Healing is completely paid for.

There will always be obstacles in life and opportunities to go the wrong direction. When a person is sure of his or her calling, they will not stumble or be moved away from it.

Forgiveness of sin and the healing of the body go hand in hand. Over and over again in scripture we see these two put together. Jesus took one just as much as the other. We must never separate the two, making it hard for people to be healed.

Hope is a confident and favorable expectation. We should all have a constant expectation for our lives to improve and experience all that God has provided - including healing for the physical body!
