We are told multiple times in the Word of God to use our freedom to serve God and one another. When a person doesn't do this, either others must work overtime or some of the work of God will go undone.

One area that pride shows up in people's lives is in how they deal with care, anxiety, and worry. The humble person will submit to the Word of God allowing it to rule their circumstances.

Pride is always right in its own mind. It blames others for its failures and is very slow to admit wrong and apologize. Humility will welcome correction and always be teachable and will change when needed.

God can be limited by us. We must stretch in terms of our vision, thinking, and activity in order to allow the potential of God's ability to be realized.

Accepting the principle of humility as a virtue is pretty easy. Recognizing the symptoms of pride to eliminate it is another story.

You cannot have faith for something that you don't know about. It is through our knowledge of God and what He has promised to do for us that enables us to believe.
