Surprisingly baptism has controversy surrounding it.  It seems like people like to argue about anything.  In today’s sermon we will look into the context of baptism and discover if it was necessary for salvation.  Mark 16:16 has sparked the debates so we want to reverse it and find out if we need only Jesus or do we need baptism too.

Temptation is common to all of us.  Even Jesus was tempted but did not sin.  In 1 Corinthians 10:13 it teaches us that God has made a way out of the temptation so that we do not sin.

Romans 8:28 is a powerful verse that brings us great hope in the middle of difficulties.  Whatever you are going through isn’t your final destination.  It’s not over.  God is at work bring good out of what is happening to you right now.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,”  is a very popular verse that is often quoted but do you really know what it means. The good news this verse is better and richer in meaning than you probably ever knew.
