Mark received his undergraduate degree in psychology and went on to receive his master's in counseling from West Virginia University.    It wasn't until a copy of Linda Goodman's book Love Signs fell into his hands in 1979 that it was clear that astrology had the potential to be the fastest and most definitive map to the psyche. That map became the focus of Mark's career, when in 1982 he moved to Denver to meet Jungian astrologer John Joseph. The two opened Denver's premier astrological store, The Twelfth House, in 1989.      The Twelfth House developed a reputation not only for its psychological approach to astrology, but also for its promotion of the ideal that spirituality is something that is guaranteed regardless of your beliefs about it - but being happy isn't. The family returned to Canada where his father pastured a number of churches for various denominations. By the time he entered Canadian Bible College, Paul had attended a dozen schools.
