Lara Jackson is a wildlife conservationist, photographer, and zoologist. Few enjoy change, and therefore convincing others to change their ways can be an uphill battle. Lara's journey includes educating others about the importance of saving and protecting wildlife. She encourages people to think about their impact on the world and to help our planet. For example, she advocates for eating no/less meat. There are two methods to getting someone on her side. She can attack someone who eats meat by yelling at them saying that they are a horrible person or she can have a conversation with someone where she tells her side and then listens to what the other person has to say. Lara choices the second method and she does this through having conversation, social media, and her photography. Why would you want to see an animal as beautiful as a rhino or lion perish from the face of this earth? It is a very similar question to, why would you be racist towards your friend? Through understanding and education comes empathy and change. So if you want to save the world start by having conversations. Conversations where you share your story and then listen to theirs.
