For today’s episode, I’m joined by Danielle Linneweber. We talk about Danielle’s journey of leaving the corporate communications world to build a more meaningful career, whether you can really love your job, working with a life coach, trusting your gut, being childfree by choice and a bunch of other things.

For this episode, I talk to Denise Fort who makes a living as an artist – and is about to move into a Tiny House.
We talk about life as an artist, making money from your passion, keeping life simple, tiny houses, staying true to yourself and much more.

My guest today is Allen who, two years ago, quit his job as Vice President in a finance company, sold the house and hit the road in a travel trailer with his wife Shawna.
Allan and I talk about nomad life in the middle of a global pandemic, escaping the stress of a corporate world, finding happiness, meeting people and making friends on the road and the ups and downs of life as a nomad.

While choosing not to have children is increasingly accepted in most societies these days, it’s still unusual – which makes it a great topic for this podcast.
My guest for this episode is Laura LaVoie who, like me, chose not to have children on her own. We talk about what it means for us as women to make that choice and the benefits and challenges that come with it. Laura and her partner also built their own tiny house so, of course, I had to ask her about that as well.

For this episode, I talk to Emanuele who is currently in a bit of a transition period, moving from one alternative lifestyle to the next. Having spent two years travelling on a super tight budget, Manu is now back to living what he calls a fairly normal life to save up for his next dream. We talk about his travels, of course, but also about how he is finding it being back in society and how he finds the right balance between living in the moment and working hard to make his dreams come true in the future.
My guest this week is Australian traveller Ty. Not wanting to follow the traditional career path after finishing university, Ty decided to, instead, chase an ambitious goal: To circumvent the world without flying. He left his home in Australia thinking it would take him about 18 months. That was six years ago now. Since then, Ty has been travelling on a shoestring budget, slowly making his way around the globe.
We talk about what it’s like to be a long-term traveller, how he makes it work financially, long-distance relationships and how six years on the road have changed his outlook on life.

For this episode, I got to catch up with a young couple who currently live on a sailboat in the Bahamas.
Andrea and Alejo are a great example of what’s possible when you believe in yourself and work for your dream. Wanting to spend more time together, they decided to quit their office and retail jobs to start an online business that would allow them to work from anywhere. Since then, they’ve lived first in a camper and now on a boat, travelling around while living the digital nomad dream.

In this episode, I chat with fellow New Zealand vanlifers Jackie and Gareth. I really enjoyed the chance to hear more about their experience and swap stories. We talk about vanlife in New Zealand, how moving from a house into a van is not a guarantee for a stress-free life, what it’s like for them to live in such a small space together and, of course, I also ask one of my favourite question: what happiness means to them.
If you want to follow Jackie and Gareth's journey, find them on Facebook @richeshavewheels
When I started this podcast, it was really important to me to also feature people who live lives that, from the outside, might look fairly normal but who have made small changes and tweaks to their lives to have more freedom and less stress. My guest today is a perfect example of that.
Her name is Fran Bellingham, she is a mum of two and she left a corporate career and traditional employment to start her own business and create a life that is fulfilling and stress-free.

My guest this week is Guillermo Escalante who escaped hardship in Argentina to travel and live a free-spirited live as an artist. During the interview, I was getting a bit worried about how I would edit this down into a 45-minute episode. In the end, I decided to keep editing to a minimum and instead share the whole story with you. The more I talked to Guillermo and I listened to his stories, the more value I got out of it and I hope the same will be the case for you.
