Gossip seems to run rampant in our world and is often even promoted and encouraged. It is a seemingly harmless way to blow off steam and get that dopamine rush of feel good chemicals when we know something about someone and get to share it with others. But in reality, gossip is far from harmless. In this episode, we revisit why we have set a standard of being a “no-gossip zone”. We also talk about the difference between actual needful communication and idle, unnecessary sharing. We hope you are encouraged to stand guard against gossip and instead choose to validate and uplift people by speaking what is good, true, lovely, and of good report.
