Silvana, Eric, and Tegan watch Season 7 Episode 4 "Orpheus," which seems to have nothing to do with the Greek myth. Teal'c is injured and has a slow recovery ahead of him and he's having a hard time with it. Jack and Daniel are, in fairness, doing a pretty good job of supporting him. Sam gets to explains a sci fi film to the team in the weight room while Teal'c is doing Physical Therapy and Daniel gets to show off his new muscles. Daniel is hearing things and seeing visions and it turns out Ry'ac and Bra'tac are on a labor planet so the team comes up with a plan to set them free. They have to move quickly because Bra'tac has run out of tretonin! Bra'tac gives a great pep talk and Daniel convinces Teal'c that kelno'reem isn't just for Jaffa with symbiotes, actually. They escape, saving the day and Teal'c gets his mojo back!

Peter DeLuise unsurprisingly directed this episode and a side character shared the name of his 21 Jump Street character. The hosts praise the emotional depth of the episode and think it was a long time coming. This episode also raises a lot of questions about how the Jaffa have been written up to this point and why the Jaffa rebellion wasn't prioritized by the SGC and Teal'c far earlier?

Silvana and Tegan had a very hard time enjoying this movie, but Eric found a lot to advocate for. If you can turn your brain off and not ask questions, you could still enjoy the action in this film.

Silvana, Tegan, and Eric watch the new film, Disclosure Day. Silvana and Tegan were not fans of this film and even though Eric found things to like, all three are mystified by the 80% on Rotten Tomatoes. We all feel like Stephen Spielberg really phoned this one in.

This review is split into two parts. We discuss the first half of the film and some of our initial impressions of the film overall.

Silvana, Tegan, and Eric discuss Season 7, Episode 3 of Stargate SG-1, "Fragile Balance". In this episode, Jack shows up to the SG-C as a 15 year old boy. This episode has a lot of great moments, but we could do without the last minute of the episode. You'll also learn why we probably won't be covering Twilight and hear about the invention of Stargate Bingo.

Eric comes clean about how much he did not enjoy watching "The Mummy" but Silvana and Tegan are still awash in nostalgia. This episode takes the hosts into various conversations about the plot holes and inconsistent tone of the film. Side tracking conversations include why is there so much quicksand in movies from the 90s? This episode contains the ratings for "The Mummy" and a final recommendation that listeners should watch it if they haven't already.

Silvana, Tegan, and Eric watch the 1999 version of "The Mummy". To Silvana and Tegan's surprise and delight, Eric had not seen this movie before, or if he did, he did not remember it. Much to Eric's dismay, he probably wishes he still couldn't remember.

The three discuss how this movie can't decide what it wants to be: horror, comedy, thriller? Tegan and Silvana basque in the nostalgia while Eric learns what he's been missing.

Silvana and Eric watch and discuss Season 7, Episode 2 of Stargate SG-1. This is the final episode with Jonas Quinn for a while, and has us returning to his planet to save it from Anubis.

The Kelowna Beanie Baby Market may have never crashed. Jonas should get on that.
