Be consistent, making sure you’re there for your child and staying connected even if you have to from a distance. I talk about some ways I always stay tapped in with my kids, making sure it’s always ‘presence over presents.’

Separation is rough on everyone but remember to be especially mindful of the transition for your child. I discus some of the personal experiences I’ve had with helping my kids through these times.

I touch on being prepared for looking after your kids after the separation, not only financially but also looking after their mental well-being. It’s not easy being a parent but remember to look after yourself as well.
