In this episode we’re focusing on how powerful a person’s message can be. As someone with a following, as someone who is known for putting a message out there on this show or on social media I have to really think about what I choose to say and how I say it. But this isn’t just about online this is real life. Whether we’re speaking to our family, friends, or even our social following, it’s CRUCIAL to understand the influence we have on others.

🥇 Understanding your influence

Over the years I’ve grown a lot and I’ve decided I want my message to be a positive one. I’ve learnt to understand the influence words can have. What you decide to speak on can potentially have an impact on someone else's life. And that’s something you have to take seriously.

🥈 Understanding the message

Sometimes when we’re filled with emotions our message might come out the wrong way. I’ve been guilty of that. Before we speak out wither it be public or in private think about the point you’re trying to get across and how you plan to go about saying it. There’s nothing wrong in taking the extra time to think about your message, what you’re really saying.

Listen, let’s be honest, everyone is NOT going to agree with you and that is OK.

There’s no reason to get mad at someone for disagreeing with you. They simply just don’t subscribe to what you’re saying.

But sometimes people take your message personally.
