It's even harder when your previous friendships or relationships have been built on a lack of communication and that becomes all you know. We're all working on ourselves and we all do that at a completely different pace to the next person but know when your path isn't meant to align with someone else's anymore. Asking for more is never wrong and it's never rude. Find your worth and fight like hell for it.

This is probably my most vulnerable episode yet so be nice. It’s honestly more than okay that you’ve always been single. Or that you're single in your twenties. Fall in love with yourself. That’s the most important relationship you’ll ever have. Being defined by whether or not you’ve been in a romantic relationship is just another one of society’s ways to make people feel less than but that’s not true. You’re worth all the love in the world even if you are the only one giving it to yourself.

Living for others is boring. Literally, stop doing. Define your own life and define your own dreams. Be the main character and write the chapters of the book you want to live. At the end of the day, the only person you ever need to impress is yourself. You got this. You've always got this.

Self-care looks different on everyone. For you, it might be meditating and for others, it might be watching Greys Anatomy over and over again. We all just have to find the things that bring us peace. And with that, we have to find the things that make us feel appreciated by ourselves and our friends because, plot twist - you are your own best friend before you are anyone else's.

Working on yourself seems like something you don't need to do until you do it and then layers are revealed and shit gets real. It is healing and necessary and a part of growing. You don't have to do it right away. Do it when you're ready.
