In this episode of the podcast, Austin (Twitter:  @Round_Trippers) joins Felipe (@pathological_h8) to discuss the best defensive players in the 2021 Major League Baseball campaign.   

We start discussing how fangraphs.com measures defensive prowess by utilizing Defensive Runs Saved (DRS) and Ultimate Zone Rating (UZR) statistics. We also try to break down some of the components that go into the DRS and UZR calculations as both metrics attempt to measure things like catchers' pitch framing, middle infielders turning ground balls into double plays, and outfield arm and range.   

After seeing the Fangraphs' numbers, the guys reveal their all-defensive team for the 2021 MLB campaign before they try to predict who the baseball writers will select for this season's Gold Glove Awards.

Felipe (Twitter: @pathological_h8) is joined by Austin (@Round_Trippers) of the Roundtrippers Podcast to discuss the best and worst individual player performances of the 2021 American League Championship Series and the National League Championship Series as both the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves advance in the 2021 Major League Baseball Playoffs. 

Before they previewed the upcoming 2021 World Series, the guys took a left turn to discuss Austin's latest Roundtrippers Podcast where he discussed the accuracy from MLB umpires when it comes to calling balls and strikes and how these metrics can be juxtaposed in arguments that support, or are against, robot umpires. 

This episode comes to its conclusion as the guys go player-for-player and compare the rosters of both the Braves and Astros as they attempt to correctly predict this year's eventual World Series Champion!
