Maduvha is a versatile performer also known for her acting ability. The general public, familiar with the actress on the SABC 2 current hit TV series Muvhango as Queen Vele, despite being introduced to the public via the TV youth drama series on SABC 1 Gaz’ Lam 2 & 3 back playing herself as a musician Maduvha. Added to that are roles on feature films Max & Mona , Paradise Stop and Amukelani. She is currently shooting the telenovela Ring of Lies.

Belinda doesn’t let her disability stop her from living her best life.
Growing up as a child with a disability can be very challenging and difficult. But 23-year-old Belinda Ramakatsa from Pampierstad in the Northern Cape doesn’t let her disability stop her from living her best life.
Belinda has scoliosis – a bent spine – something that most-often starts just before the growth spurt before puberty hits.
For Belinda, it happened when she was about 10 years old. Before then, she thought she was just like any other child.

The GladAfrica Foundation and the University of Venda will partner on research on the prevalence of epilepsy in the rural communities of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
This research will be implemented through the University of Venda’s School of Health Sciences over a period of four years starting this year. The research is two-pronged as it will be comprised of a needs assessment and an epilepsy awareness/intervention programme to be implemented in the affected communities.
